Who pays for CGFNS services?

The applicant is responsible for payment unless an arrangement has been otherwise made with a recruiter, employer or attorney. Fees can be paid by an international money order, certified bank check (in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank and made payable to CGFNS) or by a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card.

Who pays the school for transcripts?

If there is a fee for the transcripts or license for the Credential Verification Service for New York State, do I need to pay it?

No. If there is a fee, CGFNS will pay it.

How do I pay CGFNS online?

Fees can be paid by credit card at https://www.cgfns.org/cerpassweb/login.jsp. CGFNS accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. American Express is not accepted.

How do I pay CGFNS by mail?

Send one of the following to CGFNS, Suite 400, 3600 Market Street, Philadelphia PA 19104, USA: a completed Credit Card Payment Form from www.cgfns.org/sections/apply/forms.shtml, or an international money order or a certified bank check, made payable to CGFNS. Please include your CGFNS ID number, if already assigned. All payments must be in U.S. dollars drawn on a U.S. bank. Personal checks are not acceptable and do not send cash.

Must payment be from the United States?

Do you have to have somebody in the United States to pay for the application?

No.

Can I mail my payment?

Can I apply online and mail my payment?

Yes. However, we will not process your application until we receive full payment.

What is your refund policy?

What is your refund policy? Can I get a refund if I cancel my application?

We have a no-refund policy. When a refund is due to a CGFNS error, consideration will be given on a case-by-case basis.

How do I get reimbursed for a credit?

Send us a letter or use the Contact Us form at https://www.cgfns.org/cerpassweb/processContactUs.do, providing your full name, birth date and CGFNS ID number with an explanation and request for a reimbursement of the overpayment.

What are acceptable forms of payment?

I am in the Philippines and international money orders are unavailable here. Certified bank checks are unknown to many banks, can we just use demand draft or manager’s check or bank draft as payment?

How do I pay without a credit card?

I don’t possess a credit card, but I do have a dollar account. How do I pay the fees?

Can I use my husband’s credit card to pay?

You can if you are authorized to do so, or he submits the credit card payment for you.

Fees for Language Report: English.

When I check my status, it states I owe an additional fee for the CGFNS Language Report: English. What does this mean?

If you are applying to a state that requires the CGFNS Language Report (an English proficiency report included with CES Report for select State Boards of Nursing), there is an additional fee to prepare an English language proficiency report regarding your status. If you are not English-exempt, you will need to take the English exam and have the scores sent to CGFNS so that we can include it with your CES Report.
